EVOLON® MASK by Textiles & More
Textiles & More develops high-quality, innovative and high-quality (interior) fabrics that are used in projects such as hotels, offices and healthcare institutions. In addition to fabrics, Textiles & More also develops custom-made designs through digital / transfer sublimation printing of various fabrics for both large and small projects. From the above point of view, Textiles & More developed the “face masks” project. Textiles & More introduces these face masks through the accumulated expertise in combination with the right fabric, the T&M face mask made from Evolon® texile.
In the Netherlands, RIVM only advises mouth masks for medical personnel. The World Health Organization (WHO) recommends wearing a face mask if you are caring for someone suspected of being infected with the corona virus. Even those who exhibit symptoms such as fever, cough, a cold nose or shortness of breath are better off wearing a face mask. This makes people less contagious to the environment.
Textiles & More wants to ensure that everyone in the Netherlands and abroad can feel protected against contamination, such as Corona, but still look fashionable. The face masks are therefore only made for personal use and are made of the fabric Evolon®. We print fashionable designs on this fabric. In addition to these standard designs, there is the possibility to produce, among other things, “Custom Made” designs, slogans, emojis, social messages.
The face masks are washable at a temperature of at least 60˚ C and therefore reusable. Even after many washes, the print retains its quality and appearance.
Tested
Textiles & More has had the masks tested at two test institutes:
– TNO (TNO Reference: MSB-2020-100332199-MHe).
– CENTEXBEL (Centexbel Reference: T2023251 – T&M Facemask Analysis Report 20.06599.01).
Based on these tests, the face masks, in terms of fit, visual inspection, filtration efficiency (more then 90%) and quality retention after use and washing, comply with the European document for non-medical masks published by the CEN (European Committee for Standardization) (CWA-NORM 17553 NORM 2020 Community Face Coverings).
STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX® is one of the world’s best-known labels for textiles tested for harmful substances. It stands for customer confidence and high product safety. The Evolon® mask facemasks from Textiles & More are tested by Centexbel (https://www.centexbel.be/nl) and meet the STANDARD 100 of OEKO-TEX® standards.
